This activity was used by 104'12 Classic on Self Management! The game will put the year 1s in a bit of stress so they'll have to learn to prioritize, manage their time, and manage expectations of themselves. The games used can be ice breakers and team bonding activities, which you can find in those tags :) 1. Get the chairs pushed to the sides, leaving a space in the centre of the classroom.
2. Split the class into four groups. We will be getting the class to pick an ice-cream stick from a box of them, each having the name of their group on it. They will then group according to what’s stated on their ice-cream stick. There will be one PSL facilitating in each group. Each group proceed to one corner of the classroom. 3. The PSLs will brief their respective groups on the game instructions: -Each group will receive a list of 5 missions (mini games) -By completing a mission, the group will earn points. However, the points awarded for each mission will vary, as indicated on the list. -The objective of the game is to earn as many points as possible within a short 15 minutes. 4. After the game, the PSL in each group will calculate the points and the group with the highest points will win a prize. 5. Debrief! Comments are closed.
