Classic 101'12 screened this videos during the session on Peer Support. This activity allowed Y1s to learn the meaning of peer support and still allow them to relax and be entertained by the cute videos. This is a Pingu movie which shows the friendship between Pingu and his friends and helping a friend when in need. This is a clip from Wizards of Waverly Place: Wizards vs Angels which shows different kinds of peer support, for example keeping a friend away from bad influences.
At the end of the screening session, PSLs can ask the year 1s to sum up what the clip was about and link it to peer support. A soft toy will be thrown around randomly and the person who catches the soft toy will be the only one to speak at that point of time. (Pingu shows how friends treasure, care for, and support each other. Wizards of the Waverly Place shows a different kind of peer support where friends keep each other from bad influences.)
